Do you like free theology books?

Do you like blogging about serious theology books?

Do you want my favorite book of 2011?

If you answered ‘YES’ then fill this form out and next week you could be blogging through Philip Clayton and Steven Knapp’s new book The Predicament of Belief very soon!

Here’s the deal. Fill out this form by the end of next week. Then I’ll shuffle the names up and pick 15 to get a brand spankin’ new copy of the book in all its hardback Oxford Press glory. You will get the book via USPS and then blog on it within a month. The blogging should be engaging the text but it doesn’t have to love it.

A very Happy New Year to all at HBC! This offer is simply too good to refuse (also had some problems submitting the form, but hope it got registered anyway) - worth blogging through even if I have to pay for a copy! I hope it doesn't need to be emphasized just how critical the whole set of issues is for theology today, and the more engagement we can get the better. In case anyone is reading this in this part of the world (Paris), let me make a quick plug for the Faith and Science series that we'll be running at the American Church in Paris from January 19th, leading up to three lectures by Keith Ward in the week of March 24-29. This is part of the Templeton Foundation's 'Scientists in Congregations Ministry Initiative', about which you can read more at http://www.acparis.org/images/stories/spire/Spire_December_2011.pdf Stimulating, no-holds barred discussion guaranteed - and I'm sure that 'Predicament of Belief' will be in the mix! Hi guys, I just threw my hat in the ring. One potential problem---I selected my country successfully, but I still have to choose a state of the US. I hope that won't cause issues. (Incidentally, I haven't actually done any blogging for a couple of years. I'm moving to a new situation in January and frequent blogging will be part of my new daily routine. Review copies of books will always be welcome!)
