Seeing Through Heaven’s Eyes: Leif Hetland with Mike Morrell

November 11, 2011 by Bo Sanders 9 Comments

Leif Hetland talks with Mike Morrell about his book “Seeing Through Heaven’s Eyes” and encourages us to take a different view of ourselves and our world. Leif is a signs-and-wonders Charismatic minister who has taken his ministry to over 70 countries. When we see ourselves as Abba sees us – everything look different .

Mike is giving away copies of Leif Hetland’s new book, Seeing Through Heaven’s Eyes, to qualified bloggers for review via his SpeakEasy blog readers’ network. If you’d like to request a copy, please click here for an eBook or here for a physical copy (U.S. residents only please on the hard copy).

After the interview, (minute 55) stick around for Bo and Tripp talking through Pentecost for Progressives.

And don’t forget to sign up for the 2012 Emergent Village Theological Conversation at Claremont  Jan 31-Feb 2.  There will be a breakout session called Pentecost and Process.

thanks for the clarification Cameron. we really don't need any of the Tasmanian Devils wanting to get even with us.

That was a good interview, and a great example how it is possible to respectfully interview someone with whom you have some profound theological and philosophical differences. So well done Mike! As a card-carrying Australian, I do need to point out that Tasmania isn't just an island to the south of Australia. In fact, it's a full state of Australia and roughly the size of West Virginia! Leif was quite correct, though, in that it is the home of the Tasmanian Devil.

ok. so I am process thinker. I can totally see how God helped someone with cancer…. but like Mike, I never saw anything super radical as a charismatic. I would love for this Leif to provide medical documentation for the stories he shared. do deaf people really get healed? I have no idea. I think it would be great if they did. but I need proof. Because I feel like I wasted years of my life praying for radical miracles like the dead raising etc.
