Brother Fuller

I like his humble responses that we/he are not creative idolaters but we are creative sinners. ha. Also, I love his description of Derrida as "A holist without the 'whole'"

Thanks so much for putting the whole of this conversation out there. For someone to be able to talk so engagingly and clearly about Hegel (which is a shock in itself) and Heidegger in a way that actually has some relevance to contemporary issues is a rare gift indeed. His take on the Rob Bell situation was extremely insightful (I'd love to have heard him talk as a Fordham insider about Elizabeth Johnson's recent brush with the episcopate over 'Quest for the Living God) and his call for charity in disagreement is something we would all do well to heed. I see that there's extensive audio from Merold Westphal's Fuller course over at http://taddelay.com/tag/merold-westphal/ - looks like a fantastic resource!
