I love both of these offerings. The first one with the 4 year old little girl let's me know that "a little child shall lead them." Children are so quick to understand the mystery that is our God. As adults we either have never known or have neglected that part of our spiritual journey and walk with God. I am an activist and have always been one, fighting for what I thought was right as well as living the way I thought Jesus taught me to. At times I have been put down for my actions but my life has got to count for something that is good and worthy of helping others. It is difficult to take a stand at times just as it was for Jesus, King, the Kennedy's, Gandi, and all the others. I would also include Obama in this category because some of what he is trying to accomplish might just get him killed and he knew this when he decided to run for president. Both he and his wife are now paying a huge price for their mutual decision to abide in the white house. One thing I know for certain is that what ever we do we cannot do it alone. If we do not have a prayer life and constantly seeking God's will and God's guidance we will never make it. It is by the strength, courage, love, hope and grace that this world will be changed. Until we change we cannot help others. I thank you Chad for this tribute to the fallen ones. Very well done. My prayer is that we can use our Holy Imagination and creativity, put our heads together and find some ways to help continue the fight that all of these individuals began. We cannot stand by and be passive in this world now. Each of us can and must do something !!! The least of these can do something !!! I continue to want more conversation between all people regardless of their beliefs so we can join forces and help to make this a much better world to live in. May our lives reflect our beliefs, that of love and grace.
