Trinitarian Theology from a Process Perspective with Joseph Bracken: Homebrewed Christianity 66
By Chad Crawford • Nov 3rd, 2009 • Category: podcast
Dr. Joseph A. Bracken, S.J. is a retired Xavier University professor of theology, and author of many books on philosophical theology, including God: Three Who are One, which we discuss this week. I got a chance to read it for the Transforming Theology Theo-Blogger Consortium last spring.
We begin our conversation with Moltmann’s theology and Joe explains how Alfred North Whitehead’s philosophy provides a good framework for understanding the differentiated unity in the Trinity and in creation, which speaks meaningfully of life in a pluralistic 21st century world.
Other writings mentioned:
Subjectivity, Objectivity, and Intersubjectivity: A New Paradigm for Religion and Science
Trinity in Process, edited by Joseph A. Bracken and Marjorie Suchocki
Thanks to Deacon Gene Anderson and Kermit the Deacon for calling in this week. Be sure and check out The Christian Humanist Podcast.
Halloween might be over but we’re still trick-or-treating by giving out free official Homebrewed stickers in exchange for your soul deacon badge-posting and calls to our listener line at 210-787-1057.

Alright — for the record, I brought up the commie/socialist resemblance of the stickers. AND, I did not say that was a bad thing.
Just sayin’…
It is good to know you are a socialist!

Nah, Tripp, it ain’t downhill to go from the Presidential election to the Homebrew podcast. It’s a step up. It’s all downhill from HERE.
Oh, that sucked. Never comment on a good piece of brew before it’s over. I have to start over and find where I left off cuz the page reloaded. Know what, the brew is good, and worth it though. LOL
