Real Change and the Access of Evil

What is it that Hans Kung, world renown theologian, and Steve Knight, Kingdom Journalist and Emergent Leader have in common? I will tell you, a vision for real change. Hans Kung was a recent guest blogger at the On Faith blog where he discusses how there can be no real change without ethics. Outside of the post being one by a great theologian who successfully blogged at a reasonable and readable length, one of the three areas he sees the need for a new ethic that can handle our new historical situation are our global markets – which he argues need a global ethic. That is all well and good Dr. Kung, but did you steal this idea from Steve Knight…..or maybe they were both attuned to the workings of the Spirit…..or maybe I have projected the connection, but none the less Steve Knight is doing something really important with a new online endeavor – The Access of Evil (and I hope the pun was intended). What is the Access of Evil, a Google watch-dog group. As Steve says:
Google is one of the world’s most powerful companies. It’s unofficial corporate motto is “Don’t be evil.” But what happens when Google doesn’t live up to this ideal? Who holds Google accountable? Answer: We all should
So think about it. Not only does Steve Knight, Google, Hans Kung, Brian McLaren, and all those who want real change need your help – God won’t be disappointed in your participation either. Maybe a Google watch-dog is the kind of dog baby Jesus wants for Christmas (ok that is far enough). I hope you all check it out.
UPDATE: So Access of Evil was already dumped for the new location with the same motivation Google Watchers.

Holy moley, Tripp, a comparison to Hans Kung? “Emergent Leader”? Baby Jesus Christmas puppy? Wow-y wow. I’m humbled. And a little afraid. But thanks. And yes, the pun was most definitely intended. But not enough people liked the pun, so we’re ditching the pun and going with GoogleWatchers.org as our nom de revolution. Ch-ch-ch-check it out. Please and thank you.
Yo Trippy: Glad to see you are alive and well. Just remember if you are under 30 and not a Liberal you have no heart and if you are over 40 and not a conservative you have no brain…
Which old youth leader are you? I am alive and well most of the time. I have thought that saying was invented by conservatives whose wallet or success got bigger than their heart, but then again I am under 30.
