This week all-star philosopher John Caputo is our guest as he shares his philosophical and theological journey through his career. If you are already a Caputo fan you will hear how he managed to make his more recent theological turn. If you aren’t a fan yet, then you will be. He shares how an early love for Heidegger and Aquinas got him into philosophy and eventually it was Kierkegaard that helped him figure out how to read Derrida. From there he explores a couple theological doctrines inlight of his philosophical reflection. Here is a list of all his books. I would suggest ‘What Would Jesus Deconstruct,’ ‘On Religion,’ or ‘Philosophy and Theology‘ for a new Caputoite and ‘The Weakness of God‘ for the more theologically engaged.
