I get the impression, from the interviews I’ve seen, he’s a nice man.

But I think, in most of his Theology, his personal view of Briton infects his view of Rome.

Great podcast! Crossan is always wonderful and his book “God and Empire” is a must read. I am so excited that emerging/ent christianity is a space where people from different theological backgrounds can meet, discuss, and even argue a bit, but end up united by our passion for subverting the empire.

FYI…. I’m a fan of nick and josh too, but Tripp gets major bonus points for actually doing his homework and asking solid questions in this interview. Sorry N/J, I still love you guys too.
