A few weeks ago Mike (the senior minister) asked me to play some music with his sermon on Psalm 46 and I ended up writing a rendition of the Psalm that was weaved through the sermon. A number of people have asked for the song so I recorded in the office today to share. Question: So if you steal lyrics from a Psalm who gets co-writing credit? The Sons of Korah? David? God?
Here’s the Mp3: Peace Be Still

Dude – That’s very good.
Tripp that was tight. Its amazing what one can do with a snowball and garage band.
Tripp-will you sing at my funeral? (Sorry, but I’m already through the wedding, ordination, etc., so its the next thing of my significant life services, unless you want to sing at my 40th bday, which is a funeral in a way)
the 40th birthday for sure, but maybe a cove of sympathy for the devil.
dude…speaking of psalms…i heard michael eric dyson on npr today and he called them the “gangster rap of their day”…you gonna have to step it up a notch
Yeah that was really good. It’s my second favorite. I’m partial to the song you played at my ordination.
